Characters

I’m enamored with the process of capturing a spirit that flits by, then lands on the page. Creating characters is what drives me. It is the thread that has connected all of my pursuits. As a former fashion and film wardrobe designer, I focus on silhouette. As a current early childhood educator, and actor, it makes me giddy to draft up nuanced expression, and movement. A whole story can be created simply by the way a character holds themselves, and what they wear.
