As a Speech Language Pathologist, Hattie saw an opportunity to create books for children that had meaningful storylines and humorous drawings, all while incorporating developmental milestones. She sees her art as the love affair of her life, and brings to it all that sparks her interest: film, fashion, mythology, character study, psychology, civil rights, and nature-based spirituality… to name a few. She can’t wait to see where the next story begins.
